The Business Office offers professional support to our employees and management in securing research grants, improve communication and maximizing career opportunities within the Humanities Cluster. The Business Office also supports the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Social Sciences (NIAS) and the Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies (NIOD). The director of this department is Sabine Rummens.
The department has between 40 and 45 dedicated specialists supporting the employees and management in their daily work. They provides reliable information to the organisation, ensures that the primary business processes are in order and that there is a well-functioning internal control- and risk management system. On top of that it has a small staff for planning and projects.
