At the Digital Infrastructure (DI) department of the KNAW Humanities Cluster we employ one of the largest group of research software engineers developing software for humanities research in Europe. As one of the core members of CLARIAH we are leading employer of research software engineers in the digital humanities.
In early 2018 we merged the IT development departments of the three founding institutes into a single group for humanities digital infrastructure (HuC-DI). Today, the department employs between 25 and 30 engineers (26.8 fte) working in software teams focusing on text, geodata, structured & linked data, collections & archives, images, design, and concern infrastructure. This is complemented by a small staff responsible for planning and consultancy.
The HuC-DI deparment is temporarily headed by Antal van den Bosch.
