Operatonal Management
The Operational Management consists of various departments that assist the institutes in carrying out their core tasks.
Communication
The Communications team works for both the Meertens Institute and Huygens Institute (IISH has its own communications team), as well as for the KNAW Humanities Cluster as a whole. It raises the visibility and societal impact of research by making it accessible to a broader audience. It also manages internal communications, ensuring that staff and stakeholders are well informed.
The team engages with the press and media, oversees and develops the websites and social media channels, and produces newsletters, articles, and other communication materials. In addition, the team advises researchers and projects on communication strategies and public outreach.
